Spirit Night at the Braves Game

Our 8th Grade Chorus will be singing the National Anthem at the Atlanta Brave game on Wednesday, August 29.  We are encouraging our chorus families from all grades to come and support these students.  6th and 7th grade students are responsible for their own transportation and are not under the supervision of Dodgen teachers for this event.  Last year's Dodgen Chorus Spirit Night at the Braves game brought over 400 ticket sales and a ton of fans for our singers.  Tickets are $15 a piece and we are sitting together in the same section.  Please make sure your student brings their money into Mr. Whittington and Ms. Scott by Friday, August 17 so that we can order the correct number of tickets for your family.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ALL CHECKS ARE MADE PAYABLE TO DODGEN AND TURNED INTO MR. WHITT OR MS. SCOTT BY 12:00 FRIDAY, AUGUST 17.

8th Grade Students ONLY

When: Wednesday, August 29th, 2018

Time: Students should arrive to the Dodgen bus parking lot by 4:30 PM

If you ride the bus back, we will return at approximately 10:30

What to wear: Dodgen Chorus Braves T-shirt (will be provided), jeans (no holes), and close-toed shoes.

Student field trip price: $20 per student. Covers T-shirt, ticket, transportation, and snack before the game. If students would like to eat an additional meal in the stadium it is suggested to send a minimum of $15 for concessions.

Family ticket price: Family price is $15 per attendee. Families will still be responsible for their transportation to and from the game. We will give students their personal tickets at the game and send all other family tickets home with your child the week prior to the event.

We will be singing the national anthem before the start of the game.  Students will be with Mr. Whittington and Ms. Scott until after we perform.  All 8th grade students are required to ride down to SunTrust Park with the group.  Families and parents can drive down to the ballpark and arrive when deemed necessary.  The game starts at 7:30 PM and we should be ready to sing by 7:20 behind 2nd base.  Students may leave with their families but they MUST check out with either Mr. Whittington or Ms. Scott.
